IntegriCert offers in-house and on-site NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) services. Our NDE inspection services are performed by an experienced team of personnel who are qualified to ASNT-TC1 standards and possess Level II qualifications for MT (Magnetic Particle Testing), PT (Dye-Penetrant Testing), UT-Limited (Ultrasonic Testing) and VT (Visual Examination Testing). In addition, we conduct video borescope inspections for drill motors and drill collars and pipe.
We provide NDE inspection for equipment and parts including:

Dye-penetrant testing (PT) can be performed on any type of metal, but is best used on non-ferromagnetic metals such as aluminum or stainless steel, which are not suitable for magnetic particle testing (MT). PT is only a surface indication test – meaning that if the indication (disconformities, cracks, faults or imperfections) is below the surface of the object being tested, it will not be detected through PT.
Visual examination testing (VT) involves what the name implies – an inspection using the naked eye. However, VT inspections are not focused completely on welds or specific areas of the object being tested (as are other forms of non-destructive examination).
